Welcome to our range of Hi Visibility clothing. Here you will find a wide range of Hi-Viz garments ranging from Hi-Viz Vests to hi viz jackets and hi visibility trousers.
Hi Vis clothing is generally used by people working in the construction industry but its applications do relate to many other areas. People such as cyclists, dog walkers, hikers and even schoolchildren all now make use of these garments reflective qualities. It is no longer considered to be just an essential item of protective clothing for construction workers and other trades; it is now a necessity for anybody who needs to have enhanced visibility in dark conditions.
The origins of Hi Vis clothing date back to the mid 1960’s when it was first trialled for railway workers in the UK. Accident and death rates relating to railway work were extremely high at the time and the need for enhanced protective clothing was very apparent. Since its introduction into the railway sector, mortality rates have fallen dramatically. These garments are now mandatory for all Network Rail workers in the UK.
There are many different standards for Hi Vis clothing throughout the world. In the UK and Europe, clothing must be certified to EN471 in order to conform to EU regulations. For railway work, the additional standard of GO/RT is also required.
All of our Hi Visibility garments are certified to EN471. All items marked with the printer icon can be customised with your logo or text.
